Shipping

For shipping times, please refer to individual item listings. If an order is placed with multiple items, they will be shipped together with the ship date being the one listed on the item with the longest ship time, so I have time to make and gather your items. If you need an item earlier than the projected ship time, please contact me and you and I can work together to figure out a way to get your items to you faster.

I also ship to Canada and other countries.  If you live anywhere other than the US, please contact me prior to ordering and I will do my best to work with you to figure out the best way to ship to you based on your location and needs.
We will ship to the address provided.  Southern Charm Soaperie is not responsible for packages shipped to wrongful addresses provided by the buyer.  The shipping fee will not be refunded if you make a mistake. If you catch a mistake before your items are shipped, please let me know.  I will gladly work with you to make your transaction flow as smoothly as possible.

Shipping prices do not include insurance.  If you would like insurance on your items, please contact me prior to purchasing and I will work with you.  Southern Charm Soaperie is not responsible for lost, broken or stolen packages.

 

 Refunds and Exchanges

If you are unhappy with your item, please notify me within 5 business days and we will work together to rectify the situation.  We want you to be 100% satisfied with your purchase!

For bath and body items: all sales are final. Due to the personal nature of the item, we can not refund, exchange, or return an item unless there was a mistake on our end. If there is an issue with your order, please contact us immediately so we can do our best to fix it. We do this for YOUR protection.

For all items, we do our best to represent the actual color, size, and overall appearance of the item. Soap scents are described the best way that we know how.

We strive for 100% customer satisfaction, and we never sell anything that we are not willing to stand behind. Please, if there are any issues, do not hesitate to contact me.  I love hearing from you and am willing to do my best to work with you.

 

Additional Policies

Item color may vary from batch to batch. I do my best to accurately portray my items’ sizes, true colors, etc. However, part of handmade charm is that not everything will be cookie-cutter perfect. I strive to make my items the best that I possibly can, and do not sell what I am not willing to stand behind. These are handmade products, made right here in the USA.

Handmade soaps are not meant to last forever. We use high-quality, food-grade oils and soap DOES have a shelf life. In order to get the best enjoyment from our soaps, we encourage you to use them within 12 months of the purchase date.  (Other items have a “use within” on the label.)  I do not use synthetic stabilizers in my soaps, rather, I like to go as chemical free as possible. I superfat my soaps, meaning that I leave extra skin-loving oils in the bar that are not used up in the soapmaking process. This helps to pamper your skin; however, over time, these oils can break down… just like oil you buy at the grocery store. I believe that fresher is better. Please use our soaps within 12 months of the purchase date for the BEST bathing experience.

When using a product that is new to you, please read the ingredient listing prior to use.  Test product on a small area of your body first.  If irritation occurs when using a product, discontinue use immediately.  If you are pregnant, consult with your doctor before using anything with essential oils.

Mystery grab bag/box items are chosen at random. I do my best to ensure a diverse collection of items, but can not guarantee that you will love every scent/color selected. I love a good mystery, and many others do as well… but if you want a “sure thing”, it is best to purchase exactly what you want. I do not take requests for Mystery Grab Bags/Box items. I’m sorry, but it’s a SURPRISE! 🙂
